 Management - WP12 Minimize

Work Package 12: Operational Management

Objectives of WP12:

  • To ensure the successful management of the project at Work package level
  • To ensure effective management of the whole project
  • To ensure the project continually meets with the EU wide objectives and policies

SABRE had 4 hierarchical levels of management:

  • Level 1: Board. Includes the co-ordinator, Biosciences KTN, and Institute National de la Recherche Agronomique, ID-Lelystad, Roslin Institute & R(D)SVS, and University of Aarhus
  • Level 2: Operational Management Group (OMG). Includes the members of the Board and work package leaders
  • Level 3: Work packages (WP). These groups comprise a WP Leader, generally a representative from the Board participants, plus the lead scientists from each other participant involved in each work package. At level 3, all participants in SABRE are represented as all are involved in one or more WP.
  • Level 4: Lead Scientists – Each participant has designated lead scientists to undertake activities in each of the WPs in which they are involved. These are the individuals responsible for each participant’s contribution to their respective work packages.

WP Leader: Toine Roozen (Operations Manager, Biosciences KTN)

Partners involved in Level 1 and 2:

  • Biosciences KTN
  • Argentix
  • The Roslin Institute and R(D)SVS, University of Edinburgh
  • Institute National de la Recherche Agronomique
  • ID-Lelystad
