Work Package 12: Operational Management

 

Objective:

To ensure the successful management of the project at Work package level

To ensure effective management of the whole project

To ensure the project continually meets with the EU wide objectives and policies

 

SABRE has 4 hierarchical levels of management:

Level 1: Board. Includes the co-ordinator, Genesis Faraday, and Institute National de la Recherche Agronomique, ID-Lelystad, Roslin Institute and Danish Institute of Agricultural Sciences

Level 2: Operational Management Group (OMG). Includes the members of the Board and work package leaders.

Level 3: Work packages (WP). These groups comprise a WP Leader, generally a representative from the Board participants, plus the lead scientists from each other participant involved in each work package. At level 3, all participants in SABRE are represented as all are involved in one or more WP.

Level 4: Lead Scientists – Each participant has designated lead scientists to undertake activities in each of the WPs in which they are involved. These are the individuals responsible for each participant’s contribution to their respective work packages.
