SABRE Industrial Training Workshops
Two-day workshops were held on two separate occasions to disseminate SABRE project outcomes and related themes to breeding companies and related organisations prior to SABRE closing on 30th September 2010. The first workshop was be held in Lelystad (The Netherlands) on 2-3rd September 2010 and the second workshop took place in Ljubljana (Slovenia) on 13-14th September 2010.
The workshops were not intended to be large-scale conferences, but focussed workshops specifically aimed at industries who could benefit from the results of the SABRE project. There were three principle sessions on genomic tools and methods, providing a comprehensive review and using SABRE developed tools where relevant as a key.

Cytoscape Software Training
Cytoscape software training was provided by Sigenae (http://www.sigenae.org/) to 40 EADGENE and SABRE delegates at the Post-analyses Workshop (12-14 November 2008, Lelystad). Cytoscape is a software tool that enable the users to visualize molecular interaction networks and metabolite pathways, with their annotations, expression profils or any associated attributes. The Cytoscape core distribution provides basic tools for data integration and visualisation. Advanced fonctionnalities are available as plugins. Plugins are, for example, network analysis toos, layouts, additional file format import /export features, scripting modules, data source connectors. Many plugins are freely available. For any information about Cystoscape, see http://www.cytoscape.org.
