To disseminate SABRE results to end-users and facilitate practical application by breeding industries, training workshops will be run by SABRE partners on the application of scientific developments and new breeding tools and software. This will disseminate SABRE results and is intended to help expand best practice in sustainable breeding, protection of genetic diversity. These workshops are likely to include, “Marker-assisted selection”, and applications of, “functional genomics”, “Bioinformatics and Genomic databases” with hands-on use of real data and computer-based analyses and will be pitched at a level appropriate for the practising animal breeder.
